Syllabus-driven AI policy
When a class is imported, UniVerse parses the syllabus for AI-use rules and applies them as the per-class policy. Faculty don't configure anything. The rules you wrote become the rules the AI follows in that class.
Institutional mode
An INSTITUTIONAL_MODE flag disables AI providers without signed DPAs. Routes return 503 instead of silently falling back. Subprocessor list is published in our docs and kept current.
Cited every claim
Answers come back with citation pills linking to the exact slide, page, or note. Students can show their work, faculty can verify. The opposite of how plagiarism shows up.
